Hello and Welcome to this new blog dedicated to the learning of Language Arts in Middle School.  It will have a number of entries ranging from journal ideas, current event writing assignments, vocabulary links, debate topics, and readings.

The age/grade level will vary as some of my students are of special needs and English Language Learners. 

Let's start with a simple and common journal entry topic.  What did you do over the weekend?  Write 5 sentences on what you did, and make sure they are grammatically correct.
